“Coast to Woodland” Foraging Experience

24th & 25th October

Join us on a guided walk-through jaw-dropping coastline, ancient hedgerows and woodland as we explore South Devon's edible landscape - a world of flavour, folklore and forgotten knowledge.

This immersive foraging experience weaves together expert plant and seaweed identification, sustainable gathering, and hands-on preparation tips, from ancient remedies to modern culinary secrets - ideal for anyone curious about what wild food can really offer.

About Flora

Flora is a qualified medical herbalist, naturopath, and passionate plant and seaweed enthusiast. After studying Russian and Classics at Oxford, her travels through Russia and South America reignited a lifelong love for the natural world and its healing traditions. She went on to complete intensive training in Herbal and Naturopathic Medicine, with a special interest in women’s health and autoimmune conditions.

Through her company, BeNutriful, Flora runs foraging courses that reconnect people with wild plants and seaweeds — blending expert identification, folklore, and hands-on tips to inspire a deeper connection with nature.

The walk offers a chance to rediscover ingredients hidden in plain sight - from the briny punch of rock samphire to zing of three-cornered leeks.

The day ends with a rustic, buffet-style lunch, showcasing delicious dishes made with some of the ingredients you've gathered - a true celebration of land and sea and the simple pleasure of eating wild!
