Meet the Chef

Our Head Chef, Thea Warren, has worked at the Cary Arms & Spa since 2010. Coming on board as an Apprentice Chef, she fell in love with the kitchen and received her pastry diploma. Thea worked her way up through the ranks with passion and dedication and was awarded the title of Head Chef in November 2024.  

Thea loves to create food that leaves you feeling happy and satisfied. She’s passionate about experimenting with different flavours and spices and enjoys taking inspiration from the Mediterranean. Thea works closely with her team and our local suppliers to ensure our menus include the freshest, most seasonal ingredients. Inspired by our coastal location, Thea loves to cook fresh fish and seafood.  

Thea is passionate about her job, loves chatting with the guests and spoiling their perfect pooches with a doggy treat or two! Thea has two dachshunds and, when she’s not working, loves taking them on walks along the coastal path. Thea credits her success with the love and support from her family.
