Here at the Cary Arms Spa we offer a relaxing and nurturing place of well-being and calm where our guests have the freedom to spend the time they need to rejuvenate and to feel taken care of. Our policies are designed to ensure guests can escape the stresses of modern living and completely embrace the Cary Arms Spa experience according to their needs. Please take a moment to read our policies ahead of your visit to our spa.

 

Access to the Spa-

Access to the spa is charged at £15 per person,for a 2 hours slot (residents only) & £20 per person from June-August
 Complimentary access is included with a treatment booking over £50 for use on the same day as your treatment only (residents and non-residents).

Spa Opening Hours-

Spa treatments available from 9:30am until 5pm. Spa facilities are opened all year round 8am until 8pm. 

Spa Scheduling-

In order to make the most of your treatment, we ask that you arrive a minimum of 10 minutes prior to your appointment as this will allow you time to familiarise yourself with your surroundings and complete a medical consultation form. Unfortunately, if you are late for your appointment your treatment duration may be reduced, and in this event there will be no reduction to the price charged. If you should wish to change your treatment choice on the day of your booking we will endeavour to amend this for, but this may not always be possible due to treatment setup and timings.  All appointment times include consultation and aftercare advice.

Lone Bathing Policy-

Please note that we operate a no lone bathing policy. If you wish to use the facilities alone please inform reception. 

Cancellation Policy-

We understand that on occasions appointments may need to be  cancelled or rescheduled, please be advised that we hold a 48 hour cancellation/reschedule policy and after that period, 100% charge will be made. Full payment for all treatments must be made on booking. Voucher codes can be used to secure your booking.

 Spa and Gym Attire-

Please ensure you are wearing swimwear at all times in the spa. In the gym, guests should dress for comfort in a t-shirt or vest with stretch trousers or shorts and suitable footwear must be worn in the gym.

Treatment Attire-

For hygiene purposes, please ensure you have showered and dried before your treatment. If you have been swimming please ensure you have dry underwear on before your treatment. Depending on the treatment, your therapist will advise you during the consultation what you will need to wear. Please be assured that all of our therapists are highly trained and your modesty will be protected at all times. 

Medical-

Please notify your therapist if you are pregnant or have any special medical considerations so that appropriate treatment modifications can be made. Kindly advise us of any health conditions, allergies or injuries, which could affect your treatment when making your spa reservation.

Cary Arms Spa cannot be held responsible for any changes to treatments or cancellations that occur due to non-disclosure of medical conditions at the time of booking, however it's our ethos to help all people be well.

Our therapists are experienced and highly trained and will be happy to discuss any concerns you may have.

Upon on your arrival into the spa you will be sent to a medical consultation form to complete which will be emailed  to your therapist 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Pregnant ladies are strongly advised against the use of any heat and/or hydrotherapy facilities. For the safety of the mother and baby, we will not be able to offer treatments before 12 weeks. 

Please note guests suffering from any heart conditions or high blood pressure will be unable to use any of our heat experiences.

Clients must ensure that Verrucas / foot conditions are suitably covered in the interest of hygiene whilst using the facilities and during treatments.

Age policy-

Due to the active nature of the products and health & safetly, spa users must be a minimum age of 18 years. Infants, toddlers and children under 18 years old are not permitted to have spa treatments or use the spa facilities.

Noise-

Our spa environment is one of relaxation and tranquility. Please respect all spa guests’ right to privacy and serenity and we ask that you turn off your mobile phone whilst in the spa. It is important to keep noise levels down so as to not disturb other guests trying to unwind especially outside the treatment rooms. You must not attempt to knock or open the doors of a treatment room at any time. Please be advised that during busy times we ask that a maximum of 6 people use the facilities at one time so you may be asked to return during a quieter period, this is to ensure that your time in the spa is as relaxing as possible.

Food and Drink-

Please ensure you drink plenty of water throughout your day whilst using the spa or after having a treatment. It is recommended that no alcohol is consumed immediately prior/ post to your arrival. We do not advise having a heavy meal before having a treatment as it may be uncomfortable.
